A)  The Promotion: what is it and how does it work?

Q1.         What is this promotion all about?

A1.         The promotion is about giving people the chance to win their dream holiday this summer and share an ice-cold Coca-Cola in the sun. People will have the chance to win holidays to local, European and international destinations every weekday in the promotional period by entering codes from promotional packs between the 15th May and 30th July. Draws will take place on the 16th of May and every weekday thereafter through to the final draw on 31st July 2017 from entries received the previous day.

Q2.         How does it work?

Republic of Ireland

A2.         To take part in the promotion, you need to buy a participating pack of Coca-Cola Classic, Diet Coke or Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. Participating packs in the Republic of Ireland will feature some of the most popular holiday destinations, both here, at home and overseas. Each pack carries a PIN code on the reverse of the label (on bottles) and you simply use the URL on pack to go online and register for your chance to select and win your dream holiday. You can enter via your smartphone, laptop or home computer and winners will be drawn each weekday via the weekday draw.

Northern Ireland

A2.         For Northern Ireland participants only, to take part in the promotion you will need to call the customer care number (0800 317 318), where you will be required to provide your contact details including your Northern Ireland address, which they will check along with an email address. Once this has been provided you will be issued with one unique promotional code via the email provided. There is only one code per person available per day. Once you have received your code via email you simply visit www.coke.ie/summer and register for your chance to select and win your dream holiday. You can enter via your smartphone, laptop or home computer and winners will be drawn each weekday via the weekday draw.

Q3.         Where is the PIN code?

Republic of Ireland

A3.         The PIN code is printed in participating packs on the reverse of the label (on bottles). On multipacks (8 x 330ml) the code will appear under the label on the outside of the multipack wrapper.

Northern Ireland

A3.         You will need to call the customer service line (0800 317 318), to claim a code to enter the promotion. Once the customer service team have obtained your Northern Ireland address and email, the PIN will be sent to the email provided.

Q4.         Where could I go?

A4.         We’ve chosen some of the most popular holiday destinations that the Irish love to travel to. From faraway, exotic beach breaks like Bali and Hawaii, to exciting and much loved cities such as Barcelona and Venice, through to popular destinations across Ireland. Q5.         What are the chances of me actually winning a holiday?

A5.         There will be a draw every weekday across the Island of Ireland and there will be over 27 million participating packs, featuring 84 destinations. This equates to a total of 56 prizes drawn via weekday prize draws during the main promotional period and 1 additional prize via the Bonus Draw (23rd of October 2017).

Q6a.       Do I have to get the PIN code from a specific pack if I want to enter for that particular destination?  For example: do I have to find and enter a PIN code from a bottle of Bali Coca-Cola to win a holiday to Bali?

Republic of Ireland

A6a.       No. Whilst the url from a bottle with Bali on it will direct you to the Bali page so you can enter to win a holiday to that destination, you will also be given the chance to explore what other fantastic destinations are available and choose which of our 84 destinations you would like to try to win a holiday to. You can use a PIN code from any of our destination packs for a chance to win a holiday to any location.

Q6b.      Does the PIN code received from the customer service team enter me for a specific destination?  

Northern Ireland

A6b.       No. We have 84 destinations that you can choose from when entering our promotion. The PIN code provided by the customer service team can be entered to win a holiday to any of these destinations listed at www.coke.ie/summer.

Q7.      Are you giving away 1 holiday per destination?

A7.        No. We have 84 destinations that you can choose from when entering our promotion. All entries received each day will go in to the relevant weekday draw, irrelevant of the location you have entered for. One winner will be selected per draw, with that winner receiving a dream holiday to the location they entered for.

Q8.         How will I know if I have won?

A8.         We will contact each winner, via email used when registering, to let him or her know that they have won within 24 hours of the relevant draw with details on how to contact us to confirm their prize. Winning status is subject to verification against the promotional terms and conditions. Once the winner’s details have been verified, they will be shared with the travel partner (JTB) who will contact the winner within 24 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to pick up discussions and process their booking. Once booked, a pack containing the full details of the trip will be provided. A list of winners will be available by writing to Win A Holiday With Coke Ireland Promotion, Haygarth Group, 28-31 High Street, Wimbledon Village, Wimbledon, SW19 5BY, UK within 3 months of the promotion closing.

Q9.         How many times can I enter?

A9.         You can enter a valid PIN code per pack for each weekday draw, with a maximum of 5 PIN codes per day throughout the promotion. Each valid code can only be used once.

Q10.       Could I win more than one holiday as part of this promotion?

A10.       No there is a maximum of one win per person under the terms and conditions of the promotion.

Q11.       How and when will you choose the winners?

A11.        The draws will be carried out the next working day after entry, for example: Monday’s valid entries will be drawn on a Tuesday. For each draw there will be one dream holiday winner drawn on the next weekday or working day from all valid entries submitted the previous day i.e. from Friday’s entries and any over the weekend for Monday’s draw.

B)          The Holidays: what, where, when and how?

Q1.         What kind of holiday do I get if I win?

A1.         Your choice of location from tier A, B or C will dictate the number of guests included. If you chose a destination from tier A or B you will win a trip to your dream destination for you and 3 people for 7 nights which includes economy class return flights and half-board hotel accommodation at a four star hotel. If you chose a destination from tier C, you will win a trip to your dream destination for you and one other person for 7 nights, which includes economy class return flights and half-board hotel accommodation at a four star hotel.

Q2.        Are the images shown on the website of the actual holiday destinations?

A2.         The images of destinations are for illustration purposes only. Final holiday destinations may vary from the images shown on the website.

Q3.         How long is the holiday?

A3.         Holidays to local, European and international destinations are for 7 nights.

Q4.         If I win a holiday, how long do I have to take it?

A4.         You and your guests must book your holiday package within 6 weeks from the first point of contact made by our travel partner (JTB). From the date of initial contact made by our travel partner you and your guests will have 12 months to redeem your holiday. 

Q5.         What do I have to pay for?

A5.         Your flights and hotel accommodation are paid for, including half-board at the hotel. Standard travel insurance is also included for your trip, however any policy amendments and premiums will be your own responsibility. So you would only have to pay for additional meals, insurance adjustments, visas and vaccines (if required) and spending money.  Our travel partner (JTB) will advise every winner what their trip includes so they can plan ahead.

Q6.         Are there any limitations when I can travel?

A6.         Your travel will be restricted during the Christmas and New Year period and limited should there be a large music or sporting event, which could in turn make your travel package exceed the price cap set out by the Promoter. However our travel partner (JTB) will always endeavour to find you a suitable alternative in this instance.

Q7.         Can I exchange my holiday for cash instead?

A7.         No, the holiday cannot be exchanged for money and are non-transferable and cannot be sold or advertised for sale in any way.
